The alternating current (AC) cable is suitable for Type 1 vehicle inlets and connects to Type 2 Infrastructure Socket Outlets at charging stations for E-Mobility (EVSE).With a straight, TPE-U sheathed cable, this mobile charging cable is easily stored, and its robust construction and silver plated contacts assure a reliable connection.Type 1 EV Connectors are a United States standard.Type 2 EV Connectors are a German standard.The cable assembly also has attached connector plug caps which will protect the connector up to IP56. The Type 1 connector features a locking option for U-Lock.
