Composite Housing

The Y-bearing housing is made from a thermoplastic composite material making it strong, lightweight and chemical resistant. Capable of resisting citric acids, cooking fats and most food and beverage processing chemicals.Steel coils embedded in the housing increase the fracture strength of the Y-bearing. The polyamide filled base allows for surface-to-surface mounting and eliminates gaps and contaminant build-up.Stability created by stainless steel bolt-hole inserts increasing strength and preventing corrosion. Housing designs available are, plummer block (SY series) and tapped base (SYF series).
