The Souriau 840 series 3-poles female circular connector has a socket type connection. This connector has a voltage rating of 2000vrms and a current rating is up to 11A per contact. The connector has a bayonet coupling mating system that gives it quick-connection and disconnection capabilities. The connector shell is made from aluminium alloy over alodine plating with silver-plated copper alloy contacts. The snap-lock latch has a bayonet design and a mechanical indexing system guides the housings.
