RS PRO Grease Nipple Kit

This RS PRO grease nipple kit is designed for use with a grease gun when lubricating joints or bearings. The nipples sit over a grease hole in a rotary bearing or a similar part. This kit comes with 50 H1-type straight nipples, 50 H2-type 45° nipples and 50 H3-type 90° nipples.The grease gun depresses a spring ball bearing in the nipple when pushing lubricant out and lets the grease flow. When not under pressure, the ball bearing returns to its closed position, preventing contaminants from getting into the part being greased.The kit's grease nipples are made from zinc-passivated, corrosion-resistant steel, so it's safe to use them in wet or damp environments. They meet ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Control Standards, meaning they won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Grease nipples are often used with grease guns for the maintenance of motor vehicles and factory equipment.
