The polyimide insulating band 92 is a powerful insulating band with polyimide support material. This tape serves as a thick insulation for coils, cable trees and capacitors. The polyimide film 92 is particularly characterized by extreme temperature resistance and very good dielectric properties. In combination with a high-quality silicone adhesive, it forms a powerful combination of mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties, which remain stable in a temperature range of -40 ° C to + 180 ° C. This means that the insulation band belongs to the insulating material class H. The total of 0,076 millimetres of thin tape has a flow voltage of 7,500 volts and is flame-resistant according to UL 510. The polyimide film is therefore suitable for applications where it is exposed to high temperature fluctuations, especially for the bonding of contacts when soldering PCB.
