The polyimide insulating band 92 is a powerful insulating band with polyimide support material. This tape serves as a thick insulation for coils, cable trees and capacitors. The flame-retardant adhesive tape is suitable for a temperature range of 0 to 180 ° C. The polyimide film 92 is particularly characterized by extreme temperature resistance and very good dielectric properties. In combination with a high-quality silicone adhesive, it forms a powerful combination of mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties, which remain stable in a temperature range of -40 ° C to + 180 ° C. This means that the insulation band belongs to the insulating material class H. The total of 0,076 millimetres of thin tape has a flow voltage of 7,500 volts and is flame-resistant according to UL 510. The polyimide film is therefore suitable for applications where it is exposed to high temperature fluctuations, especially for the bonding of contacts when soldering PCB. Since it can be printed, it can also be used for cable bundling and marking.
