Optical smoke detector 12 V
The optical smoke detector reacts to visible smoke particles. If too much smoke goes into his measuring chamber, the alarm is triggered. Within the measuring chamber, an integrated infrared light source generates a light pulse every 8 seconds. Only through smoke particles that enter the measuring chamber during a fire does the light fall on the photo diode. A relay switches and the alarm unit reports a fire alarm. The optical smoke detector is mounted on the ceiling in the middle of the room. The minimum distance from the side wall is 30cm. One smoke detector is recommended per hall, staircase, living room and bedroom. By adjusting a plug bridge you can configure the optical smoke detector as NO- or NC-detector. Thus it fits to any wired alarm system. The smoke detector is supplied externally with 12V operating voltage and is EN54 certified.
