The sensors offer the possibility to detect metallic objects in transparent or non-transparent hose inlays. For this purpose, the sensor can be attached to the hose by means of cable ties. Static versions produce an output signal as long as metal parts are in the coverage range. In this way, dust controls can be implemented in feed processes, e.g. supported screws. Dynamic sensors are used when it is important to capture particularly small parts with a low mass. If a metallic object moves past the device, a short impulse, adjustable up to 100ms, is generated at the output. Due to the fact that only moving materials are recorded, metallic abrasion is hidden in the tube and the resolution remains in these applications. In order to achieve the maximum switching distance, attention should be paid to the size and nature of the objects to be collected (standard switching flag). A free zone of 30mm to meet the sensor is required. Application examples Use in hose feed dust control
