Acoustic box S "System Wichmann" ®. S = standard = sound decoupling of acoustic box and cable track for an improvement of air noise values. The acoustic box S does not protect against fire events, but provides peace. It is particularly suitable for reducing unwanted noise transmission through cable paths in clinical areas, laboratories, studios and similar facilities. It consists of a steel sheet housing, which is equipped with a pyramid-shaped waffle foam and is closed on both sides with a high-noise silkscreen stopper. The acoustic box S is suitable for the common dimensions of cable tracks. In addition, the flexible mounting system and the cutting of the foam stopper can be adapted to the width of existing cable lines. The fastening system is designed in such a way that the acoustic box and cable line are to a large extent sound decoupled. The acoustic box can be opened and even after the cable is laid around the cable line. After the cable line adjustment, the acoustic box is masked in the existing wall opening. After closing the acoustic box with the supplied stopper, remaining openings are sealed with a permanent elastic sealant (e.g. silicone or acrylic). The assembly is carried out according to the attached assembly instructions. No processor certification is necessary for the installation.
