The KNX bus is a wide application in the control of the home and building system technology. The extension module SL-E KNX is used to connect the energy counter EcoCount SL to the KNX bus. The IR (infrared) interface attached to the side of the extension module SL-E is used to connect the EcoCount SLgeneration. All values available on the measuring device can be transmitted via the KNX bus. The supply is made directly via the KNX bus so only the bus cable (a standardized cable) must be connected. The interface has an ETS user program, which allows the functions to be configured. For the fast installation the module can be integrated even without the ETS and is KNX quick capable. If necessary, the device can also be put into operation with KNX SECURE. With the product database EcoCount SL-E _ KNX.knxprod it is possible to configure the extension module EcoCount SL-E KNX.
