Circuit breakers with error current protection (CBR) switch high currents, protect equipment, cables and lines from overcurrent and people from electric shock. DFL 8 are compact devices with integrated auxiliary switch and connection terminals for large line cross-sections. Type B switches are all-current sensitive at frequencies from 0 Hz (smooth DC) to 150 kHz. They are increased shock current and maternal. Switches with the SK characteristic stand for error current protection and high plant availability. They are characterised by a lower response sensitivity at higher frequencies. This will avoid the most unwanted solutions by means of discharge flows. For switches of this variant, the error response current can be adjusted individually in steps to the respective application (0.3 A, 0.5 A, 1 A). The limit non-response time can be adjusted accordingly. This makes it possible to implement a selective error-protection circuit in systems with staggered distributions. Standard-version devices are designed for the monitoring of circuits with a measurement voltage of 230 V, 400 V and a measuring frequency of 50 Hz.
