The 3M ™ cold-shrinking cable end caps of the EC series are closed, tube-shaped rubber sleeves, which are prestretched on the work side and have a removable support spindle. When positioned above the end of a cable, pipe or other cylindrical object, the support spindle is removed, making a reliable seal against environmental influences. There are various end caps available, which are suitable for a wide range of sizes. The 3M ™ cold-shrinking cable end cap of the EC series is suitable for cables, pipes and other cylindrical objects of different sizes. It offers good resistance to abrasion, water, acids, lye and ozone, thus ensuring a long service life. The cap is prestretched on the work side and is located on a removable support spindle. When positioned above the end of a cable or other cylindrical object, it forms a reliable seal against moisture as soon as the support spindle is removed. The assembly does not require any tools or adhesive / sealant tape, and the shrink hose can be easily removed.
