Gateway Profibus-DP-V1 Remote Master, Ethernet, for Premium / Quantum / M340 PLC, robust design
This product is part of the Profibus DP series, a range of remote master modules. The Profibus Remote Master (PRM) module is connected to the Ethernet Modbus TCP / IP network via its integrated 2-port switch, as close as possible to the process and the instrumentation. It has a shielded Profibus 2 cable and a Modbus TCP transmission medium of category 5 (STP, shielded twisted pair). It is equipped with 2 Ethernet TCP / IP-RJ45 for Modbus TCP, Profibus DP SUB-D 9 for Profibus DP V1 connections. Communication services are: verification of the slave configuration (when switching on) class 1 master, management of monitoring requests (Global CONTROL and Get Master Diag) class 2 master, no master / master dialog class 2 master, etc. This product can be used to connect Modicon Quantum, Premium, M580 and M340 programmable controls (PLC) via the E / A scanner function to Profibus DP V1. The kit contains a CD with the communication DTM and a CD with the master DTM for configuration within the UNITY.
