Control and switching voltage 110V AC to 240V AC 50 / 60Hz. No minimum load required. Short control commands turn on / off, permanent control changes the brightness up to the maximum value. An interruption of the control changes the direction of dimming. In the case of a power failure, the switching position and the brightness level are stored and will be switched on when the supply voltage is returned. Automatic electronic overload protection and overtemperature shutdown. Under the upper switch on the front side there is a LED that displays a control. It starts to flash after 15 seconds to draw attention to a possibly blocked control button. The upper turning switch determines in operation whether the automatic lamp recognition should be AUTO or one of the special comfort positions LC1, LC2 or LC3. If the setting area MEM + is selected, the memory function is active and the last set brightness level is saved when switching off. If the setting area MEM is selected, the memory function is switched off and it is always switched on with maximum brightness. Dimmable energy-saving lamps must be operated on AUTO and MEM. AUTO allows the dimming of all lamp types. LC1 is a comfort position for dimmable 230V LED lamps, which cannot be dimmed sufficiently on AUTO (phase section) construction and therefore must be forced on phase cut. LC2 and LC3 are comfort positions for dimmable 230V LED lamps like LC1, but with other dimm curves. In the positions LC1, LC2 and LC3, no inductive (wrapped) transformer shall be used. In addition, the maximum number of dimmable LED lamps may be lower due to construction than in the position AUTO. With the average% lamp switch, the minimum brightness (fully dimmed) or the maximum brightness (fully dimmed) can be set. The dimspeed can be adjusted with the lower dimspeed switch. At the same time, the duration of soft-on and soft-off is changed. With children's room: When switching on with longer button actuation, after approx. 1 second with the smallest brightness and, as long as it is further checked, slowly dimmed up without changing the last saved brightness level. With slumber: By means of a double pulse, the lighting is dimmed and switched off from the current dimming position to the minimum brightness. The maximum dimming time of 60 minutes depends on the current dimming position and the set minimum brightness and can therefore be shortened accordingly. Short keys can be switched off at any time during the dipping process. A long key dims high during the dipping process and ends the slumber. L-loads (inductive loads, e.g. wrapped transformers) and C-loads (capacitive loads, e.g. electronic transformers and LED lamps) shall not be mixed. R- loads (ohmic loads, e.g. 230 V filament and halogen lamps) can be mixed as required. The universal dimming switch EUD12D is suitable for mixing L-loads and C-loads in conjunction with the power added LUD12.
