ORION1-4-30-060-B light curtain base transmitter and receiver
Orion is the light grid / light existing series of ABB. The products are available in a base and an extended version. All extended versions have an integrated muting- and blanking- function. The Orion devices are safety light grids / curtains for applications that are relevant to the protection of persons from a dangerous machine, a robot or other automated systems and where there is access to a risk area. Orion creates a protection field with infrared rays. Once a beam is interrupted, a stop command is triggered and the dangerous movement is stopped. A fast connection is guaranteed by M12 connectors, and the wide range of accessories makes the installation fast and easy. The integrated muting lamp reduces the necessary wiring, and the existing muting function reduces the complexity. The different models enable the costs to be optimized.
