The Altistart U01 is a soft-start / soft-release device for 3-phase Asynchronous motors. It is primarily intended for the combination with TeSys U-starter controls. It can be used for an engine with a rated power of up to 3 kW or 7.5 hp for 3 phases (200 V to 480 V AC) and up to 12 A. With a width of 45 mm, it is one of the smallest soft starter on the market. It can be installed almost anywhere. It has an integrated bypass that reduces the noise and heat output. The protection type is IP20. It weighs 0.34 kg and has the following dimensions: 45 mm wide, 234 mm high, 150 mm deep. The Altistart U01 is designed for the following simple applications: conveyor belts, pumps, fans, compressors, automatic doors and gates, small cranes and belt-driven machines. It meets the IEC / EN 60947-4-2 standards and bears the UL, CSA, C-Tick and CCC certification and the CE marking. It can be easily combined with a TeSys U control using the VW3G4104 power plug. It is easy to install on a DIN rail. Altistart 01 combines simplicity with simple wiring, fast configuration and efficiency. Lower machine wear and minimized maintenance times optimize operation. Together with the TeSys model U, it offers a unique engine starter solution.
