Controller BACnet MS / TPThe BACnet MS / TP controller (750-829) connects the WAGO I / OSYSTEM to the BACnet protocol. The 750-829 corresponds to the BACnet-Device-Profile B-BC according to DIN EN ISO 16484-5. The communication with other BACnet devices is made via BACnet MS / TP.It provides 3 functions internally: 1. Native- Server: For the digital input / output modules and analog input / output modules connected to the controller, appropriate BACnet objects are automatically generated per channel. Application Server: Further BACnet objects can be created via the IEC-61131-3 programming environment and made available to a BACnet network.3. Application Client: With the client functionality, access to objects and their properties is possible from other BACnet devices. The device is programmable according to IEC 61131-3, supports multitasking and has a buffered real-time clock. The ETHERNET interfaces are used as a service interface for example for an IEC download. The two ETHERNET interfaces and the integrated switch also allow the ETHERNET wiring in line topology. Additional infrastructure elements such as switch or hub can therefore be removed. Both interfaces support self-orientation and auto-MDI (X). An integrated web server provides the user with configuration and status information of the controller. The web server cannot be used via BACnet MS / TP. For initial operation, the web base management (WBM) must be accessed via a standard web browser, set the baud rate and activate the MSTP field bus. The further configuration and commissioning is then done with the Windows software WAGO-BACnet configuration (at least V1.8), which requires an additional BACnet router in the network. The supported objects, services and properties are taken from the PICS (Protocol Implementation Statement). The controller supports a maximum of 250 BACnet objects. A closing resistance can be connected to the RS-485interface with the BIASnetwork via a sliding switch.
