Basic load: A basic load is used when consumers cannot be identified due to their capacity, but the power supply should be connected. Basic loads must always be put into operation and shut down with the associated consumer. Higher standing-by loads may affect or prevent the detection of a basic load. Examples of this are fluorescent lamps, dimming circuits and electronic transformers. Basic load element GLE: PTC in a small socket with connection lines, can be used directly in a consumer, a switch or a branch can. It is not able to keep the field free switch connected without additional consumers. Technical data: Cold resistance: 3500?. On-line current at 230V: 65mA (approx. 15W). Loss power after 60 seconds: 0.65W.
