The brake resistors contain an integrated brake chopper and allow rapid braking of loads with a high inertia moment. During the braking of the engine and load, excess energy is returned to the inverter. This results in a voltage increase in the DC intercircuit. The inverter deduces the excess energy at the external brake resistance. The brake resistors are also designed for use with the MICROMASTER 440 range of inverters. SINAMICS - just my drive.
