Strap monitoring device
The GM420 loop monitoring relay monitors the loop resistance of protection conductors to exceed an adjustable resistance value in alternating voltage networks and in voltage-free networks. The external voltage Uf may be between the terminals E and KE up to AC 12 V. The Ohm resistance of the conductor loop and a possible AC foreign voltage are shown. The current measured value is permanently displayed on the LC display. The measured value leading to the switching of the alarm relay is stored. Due to adjustable time delays, system-specific properties can be taken into account.
