Differential current monitoring device
The all-current sensitive differential current monitoring device RCMA423 is used for the monitoring of grounded systems (TN- and TT- systems) in which DC or differential flows may occur, the amount of which is constantly greater than zero. These are in particular consumers with six-coil bridge rectifiers or two-pulse bridge rectifiers with smoothing, e.g. converters, chargers, construction machines with frequency-controlled drives. The RCMA423 can also be used to monitor currents in single conductors. The pre-warning level (50... 100% of the IΔn2 response value) can be used to distinguish between the pre-warning and the alarm. Since the measurement is carried out by means of a measuring current converter, the device is almost independent of the nominal voltage and current of the system.
