3M ™ Scotchcast ™ Reremovable cable resin 2123 is a soft, two-component polybutadiene cast mass. This resin has good handling and performance properties and is suitable for retractable splicing protection. This versatile, moisturizing resin is attached to almost all cable mansions. 3M ™ Scotchcast ™ Cable resin 2123 has good wetting and low viscous properties. This soft, flexible resin hardens at room temperature and serves as insulation material for cable splits, which are operated up to 1 kV. It flows easily, even at low temperatures, while it fills the housing and minimizes cavities. It is tested according to ASTM, CENELEC HD 623.S1 (EN50393) and is consistent with 2011 / 65 / EU (RoHS) and 1907 / 2007 / EC (REACH).
