The 3M ™ hot-shrinking hoses HDT-A are a rigid, thick-walled and halogen-free shrink hose series that provides reliable performance for electrical splits, connections and closures up to 1.0 kV as well as for mechanical and environmental protection. HDT- A shrinkage hoses have a flame-retardant, networked polyolefin outer wall and a work-side applied adhesive layer on the inside. The 3M ™ hot-shrink hose HDT- A is a thick-walled hot-shrink hose made of modified, beam-connected polyolefin. It is suitable for use on all plastic and mass cables for both open air and earth laying. It is used for the insulation and sealing of any kind of connections, in particular as an external hose for control line equipment. For better sealing it has a adhesive coating on the inside wall. The extremely ageing-resistant hot shrink hose is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. Its shrinkage rate is four to one and it can be used in a temperature range of -55 ° C to + 130 ° C. It is self-extinguishing and corresponds to the test standard Lloyds Register of Shipping MIL-I-23053 / 15.
