This device is part of the Vigilohm series developed for the monitoring of unearthed energy supplies (IT systems) in accordance with the installation and product standards. According to the standards, it is recommended to equip your systems with insulation monitoring devices (IMD). This device is intended for the monitoring of medium-size AC, DC and ACDC systems with limited interference. It measures the net insulation resistance by feeding in a low frequency alternating current between the net and the earth. The configuration depends on the installation. The settings are made on the front of the device via the HMI screen. The alarm thresholds are adjustable from 0.5 kilohm to 500 kilohm and alarm delays from 0 to 7200 seconds. It monitors networks of up to 600VAC when connected to the neutral ladder, 480V when connected to the line and 345VDC, with up to 40 microfarad. The black white screen can display the insulation resistance from 100 Ohm to 10 Megohm. Car test starts automatically every 5 hours and if necessary. If the system's isolation resistance falls below the set threshold, i.e. if there is a earth connection, an alarm is triggered via the IDD output relay. Once no error is detected, the alarm is deleted and the alarm relay returns to normal. The device can be supplied from a 110VAC to 415VAC source or a 125VDC to 250VDC source, all with a tolerance of plus or minus 15%. This product can be mounted on a DIN rail or in a bundle. Front-side protection is IP52, back-side IP20 and overvoltage category III.
