Isolation error search device
The EDS151 isolation error detection device, in conjunction with the ISOMETER ® IRDH575 or the PGH test current generator, is used to locate insulation errors in ungrounded power supplies (IT systems). For this purpose, they shall record and evaluate the test current signals produced by the ISOMETER ® IRDH575 or the PGH test current generator with integrated power converters. In an EDS151, six measuring current converters are integrated, through which all the current-leading lines of an output can be guided. The response time for an alarm message including a message on a corresponding indicator device (e.g. MK2430 / MK800) is max. 8 s.In total, up to 88 EDS151 can be connected via an RS485 interface (BMS protocol) and up to 528 outputs can be monitored. Activities on the BMS bus are displayed by a reporting LED.
