In addition to an extensive range of power transducers for industrial applications in the accuracy classes 0.5 and 1, MBS AG produces a rich range of power transducers for power ranges from 25 A to 3,000 A in the accuracy classes 0.2s, 0.2, 0.5s, 0.5. Since 01.01.2015, settlement converters in Germany are placed on the market in accordance with the conformity assessment procedure. By the Physical Technical Federal Institute (PTB) Braunschweig approved converter (module B) can be seen on a type and type number arranged in a stylized "S." The usual MBS type name is also preceded by an "E." The conformity of the converters shall be documented by a yellow mark of conformity and a declaration of conformity attached to the goods. Our quality system is recognised by the PTB in accordance with module D of the conformity assessment procedure, so that the settlement converters can be used directly ex works for settlement purposes. For other European countries, these type-approved power transducers are authorised for settlement purposes.
