With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, security applications can be easily configured and the system with modules can be flexibly extended according to the application. This extension module has 2 secure digital semiconductor outputs up to PL e or SIL 3, each performed as an OSSD pair. In addition, 2 status outputs and 2 inputs for the return circuit (EDM) and start are available. For connection to the internal bus the required back-wall bus connector is attached to the packaging. The module has removable screw clamps. This extension module can be used with all CPU versions.
