With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, security applications can be easily configured and the system with modules can be flexibly extended according to the application. This extension module allows field bus communication with connection to EtherCAT. It allows the transmission of state data of inputs and outputs as well as diagnostic data between the safety controller system and the connected control system. The field bus connection is over 2x RJ45. For internal connection the required back-wall bus connector is attached to the packaging. The module has removable screw clamps. This field bus module can be used with all CPU versions.
