With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, security applications can be easily configured and the system with modules can be flexibly extended according to the application. This extension module allows the evaluation of safe speeds and direction of rotation to realize functions such as standstill, SLS or maximum speed. 1 encoder with Sin / Cos- interface can be connected to the module via the RJ45 socket or 2 sensors via the terminals that capture the rotation in the application.
