The VigiPacT RH197P is a power protection relay for the front panel assembly. It protects against direct or indirect contact with persons, fire hazards and engines. It measures the earth's closing current in an electrical system via its associated ring core converter. It triggers the associated protection switch when the set error current is exceeded. The supply voltage is 380 / 415V AC 50 / 60Hz. This is a type A error protection class. The current sensitivity can be selected with 19 thresholds from 30 mA to 30 A. The time delay can be selected with 7 settings from immediately to 4.5s. The alarm is set by dip switch to 50% of IDn. A switch allows the selection between manual reset on site or automatic reset after an error resolution. The controlled voltage of the distribution system is up to 1000V AC 50 / 60 / 400Hz. It is installed on a control panel at the front and has the protection type IP40. It must be connected to a compatible Schneider Electric Electric ring core or rectangle sensor of type A.
