The 3M formulation changes its color after the two components of the resin have been correctly mixed. The resin has improved moisture performance during the curing process and is delivered with an innovative effluent that is integrated in the resin bag to allow a simple and clean application.3M ™ Scotchcast ™ The casting resin 4 GS is a high-quality universal insulation resin that is delivered in a two-component bag. A bag opener is provided. After mixing the yellow and blue components, the resin takes on a homogeneous green color, which becomes even darker when hardening the resin. It is suitable for electrical insulation and mechanical protection of electrical splits for applications up to 1 kV. The 3M ™ Scotchcast ™ casting resin 4 GS meets the requirements of IEC 60455-3-8 and is in line with EU Directive 2011 / 65 / EU (RoHS) and EU Directive 1907 / 2007 / EC (REACH). It ensures the highest degree of electrical insulation for professional and safe application.
