TKS-IP Gateway 5 License Features: Extended functionality after firmware update: The functions are provided with a free firmware update of the TKS-IP gateway, they are not part of the purchase price. To use the extended functions, a microSDK card (recommended min. 2 GB max. 32 GB SDHC) must be installed in the TKS-IP gateway. With the Firmeware update, the TKS-IP gateway is extended by the function of individual announcement. In connection with the Gira HomeServer or Gira Facility Server, audio files can be played in a targeted way. For example, status messages from the KNX system can be issued via defined message texts at the door stations. TKS-Communicator: With the TKS-Communicator software, commercial computers and PC-based control devices can be used as a housing station via network connection. The TKS communicator offers all functions of an apartment station video, such as accepting conversations, switching light (in conjunction with a switch-actor) or opening door. The connection to the Gira HomeServer or Gira FacilityServer via a plug-in allows the display in the Gira interface.
