Siemens photovoltaic fuses are specially designed for the protection of PVmodules and ensure high plant availability over the entire life of the PVsystem. The fuses have a high DC-measurement voltage and survive the highest temperature fluctuations without any problems. All Siemens photovoltaic protection systems therefore comply with the IEC 60269-6 standard. The photovoltaic fuses are particularly significant: 1. A reliable protection of the modules and the modular lines in the case of return flows. 2. Fulfilment of the UL 2579 (for IEC cylinder fuses). 3. A safe shut-off in case of error flows and thus the reduction of the fire risk by DC-light arches. 4. A safe separation with open fuse / fuse. 5. High service life despite frequent and highly changing load flows.
