Optoelectronic sensors are essential components in all automated manufacturing processes. Where parts are to be recorded, counted, measured or positioned without contact, reliable and fast, they are used. The devices have a brass housing and are often used in combination with a PLC for automatic production processes and machines. For example, they cover items made of metal, glass, plastic, wood and paper. A function monitoring of the sensor is possible with the disposable barriers by the input (function test) in the transmitter.
