LINETRAXX ® CME420Product description The CME420... current relays monitor AC- flows on lower and higher steps and the current between two threshold values (window function). The flows are measured as effective values (AC). The current measured value is permanently displayed on the LC display. The measured value leading to the switching of the alarm relay is stored. Due to adjustable delay times, system-specific properties can be taken into account, for example, device-related switching flows, short-term current changes, etc. The current measurement can be done directly and indirectly via standard current converters x / 1 A, x / 5 A, x / 10 A. The CME420 series... requires a separate supply voltage. During this time, changes in the measured currents have no effect on the switching state of the alarm relays. The devices have two separately adjustable measuring channels (over- / undercurrent). If the measurement size exceeds the response value ("Alarm 1") or below ("Alarm 2"), the set response delays start "ton1 / 2." After the response delay is over, the alarm relays and the alarm LEDs will light up. Under or above the measurement size after switching the alarm relay the return value (response value plus hysteresis) starts the set return time "toff." After the end of "toff" the alarm relays turn back to the initial position (error memory not active). If the error storage is activated, the alarm relays remain in alarm position until the reset key is activated.
