The 3M ™ Scotchcast ™ premium resin cable connection kits contain Scotchcast ™ cable resin 40, a high-quality, two-component polyurethane mass developed for general electrical insulation, moisture sealing and mechanical protection. 3M ™ Scotchcast ™ casting resin connection set of the 92-NBA series is designed for one to five-thread, unshielded low-voltage plastic cables. It ensures the electrical insulation and mechanical protection of cable connections. The SVHC-free premium connection set, tested in accordance with EN 50393, can be used in the interior, outdoor, soil or under water. The transparent, one-piece cast-in shell can be folded in the turn of the hand and closes by automatic locking. In addition, preformed, perforated foam seals are used. This makes it impossible to use the saw and adhesive tape for a dense closure. A GMG system (closed mixing and casting) is used when the 3M ™ Scotchcast ™ casting resin 40 is included.
