An economic alternative to classic line protection switches is a protection switch with a thermodynamic characteristic of the EONOMY SMART design. They ensure a safe release, even with high line resistors and are ideal for equipment and series machine construction. The electronic protection switch divides the load current on several branches and reliably monitors it for overload and short circuit. Short-term current peaks, e.g. through a high on-line current, allow the electronics to be installed, and the branches with longer overload turn it on without any energy. This is ensured even on high-floor lines and in the case of slant short circuits. For each output, the rated current can be adjusted individually with one switch. If the nominal current is exceeded, the output is automatically switched off after a defined release time and can be reactivated after a short waiting time (thermal relaxation) by means of a button or by remote reset. The button also serves for manual switching of the output. The status of the output is displayed via a multi-coloured LED. Adjustable trigger current per channel via power selector on the device.
