With the Modicon modular safety controller XPSMCM, security applications can be easily configured and the system with modules can be flexibly extended according to the application. This extension module has 16 semiconductor outputs for diagnostic applications. These outputs can also be used as safety outputs up to a PL c, Kat 1, SIL1. For connection to the internal bus the required back-wall bus connector is attached to the packaging. The module has removable screw clamps. This extension module can be used with all CPU versions.
