Mersen Protistor fuse 690 / 700V for semiconductor protection take into account a wide range of flexibility in the application for the protection of modern power-rectifiers. It is a super-flank series, which in its entirety is able to protect power semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors and IGBT components. Protistor fuse applications in different sizes and numerous nominal flows allow for the most extensive device adjustment. The fuses contain, in sand firmly embedded, melting conductors to ensure very good total switching rate (I2t) and high switching capacity. The contact surfaces are silver-plated and all components are non-magnetic. There is a function detector for all fuses in this series that can be used in addition to its visual display function to report the fuse function remotely by means of an additional microswitch.
