The smooth round sensor made of stainless steel has a diameter of 6 mm with a sensor length of about 148 mm. The transmission of the thermostat is also made of stainless steel and can be moved flexibly with respect to a 5 mm bending radius. The maximum permissible ambient temperature on the housing (protection type IP54) is 80 ° C. With the help of a screwdriver, the desired switch-off temperature can be easily set on a scale after the case cover is removed. The temperature guard is characterized by a high switching point accuracy of + / -1.5% in the upper scale. A key advantage is that no additional auxiliary energy is required for temperature measurement. The electrical connection is made by screw terminals directly on the built-in microswitch, which can directly switch a maximum permissible switching power of AC 230 Volt / 10 A. The thermostat has a switching difference (hysteresis) of about 4 to 8% of the scale and automatically switches back to the original state after the temperature is down. The temperature guard is very flexible and is used in the heating, air conditioning and ventilation technology as well as in the plastics industry, equipment and mechanical engineering, as well as in the furnace construction and temperature monitoring in laboratory and climate cabinets.
