The multifunction four-wire converter is the solution for various applications in plant construction thanks to galvanic separation and customer-specific linearisation. With a width of only 17.5 mm, the entry-level model is very space-saving in the control cabinet installation. It controls sensor signals of resistance thermometers in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit, thermocouples, potis or WFG in 3-wire circuit and voltage signals in the range of DC 0 to 1 V The output signal is 0 (4) to 20 mA or 0 (2) to 10 V. The input and the output signal are galvanically separated from each other. The multifunction transmitter is equipped with an operating hour counter. The configuration of the measuring converter with regard to sensor type, connection technology of the sensor, operating hours counter, measuring range (freely adjustable) and linearization is done with the help of a setup program on the PC. The connection to the PC is made via an USB interface, which does not require any additional auxiliary voltage. The minimum / max process value and the minimum / max can be measured by the measuring converter via the USB interface. -Operating temperature is read out and the sensor wiring is checked online. The operating conditions of the measuring form are signaled by a 3-color LED (red / green).
