The PID controller for the plastic industry, in 48 x 96 mm format, is suitable for the control panel installation. In addition to the 2 universal inputs, 2 relay outputs (changers), 2 binary inputs and 2 binary outputs, the compact controller has a power supply for two-wire converters. The voltage range is between AC 110 and 240 V + 10 / -15%, 48 to 63 Hz. The controller is suitable for controlling temperatures and other process sizes in special applications in the plastics industry. Applications include extruders, injection moulding machines, tempering machines and hot-channel systems. The contrast-rich, multi-color LCDdisplay for the actual value, the set value and the operator guide consists of two four-digit 7-segment displays. The simple operation is done via four keys. The devices can be used as a two-point, three-point or three-point step regulator. The software of the controller includes a hot channel ramp function, a control circuit and position level monitoring, two self-optimization procedures and 4 limit value monitoring. The linearization of the usual measuring sensors is stored. The controller has the approval to cULus.
