The screwable mantle resistance thermometer allows temperature measurement in gaseous as well as liquid media by the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The protective tube of the mantle line is made of stainless steel, material 1.4541. The shock-resistant structure guarantees a long service life. Due to its properties, the mantle-resistance thermometer is very often used in chemical plants, power plants, pipelines, engine construction, test stands and at all measuring locations, where bending and problem-free replacement are desired. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in two-wire circuit and designed for temperatures from -50 to + 600 ° C. The connection head in form J is made of aluminium die-cast, has a cable connection M16 x 1.5 and holds ambient temperatures between -40 to + 100 ° C. The protective tube has a dimension of 3.0 x 100 mm. A 1.4571 stainless steel screw with thread G 1 / 2 inch is used as a process connection. The flexible probe tube allows temperature measurements even in difficult to reach places. The smallest bending radius is 5 × external diameter.
