The smart arm can be used to achieve a diversified temperature measurement with a thermostat or pointer thermometer and a platinum chip temperature sensor. This is done at only one measuring point. The strengths of several devices are combined with JUMO dicoTEMP 100. With the new solution, the user can continue to use its existing devices (thermostats and pointer thermometers) in the same measuring point and, at the same time, expand functionally by an electrical temperature measurement. This way, a diversified temperature measurement can be achieved in the range of -40 to + 260 ° C and thus achieve increased process reliability. Since only one measuring point is required, the planning and installation effort is very small. The smart armour is made of stainless steel and has the protection types IP66, IP67 and IP69. This makes it very robust and durable. It can be used at ambient temperatures from -40 to + 85 ° C. The resistance signal can be converted into an analogue or digital signal via a transmitter. The connection is convenient via M12 plug.
