The security relays Harmony XPS Basic realize basic security functions. With this safety component, classic safety applications can be realized with a shutdown delay. At the front-side turning switches the shutdown time and one of the two safety functions can be set. The inputs can be connected to mechanical opener contacts of emergency / storage buttons, position, magnetic, rope pull switches, as well as light curtains or RFID safety switches with OSSD outputs. A safety function can be operated via the two inputs in two-channel (redundant) version. The automatic, manual or monitored start at separate inputs is available for the start function. This safety switch has 2 secure undelayed relay closing contacts at the output, 1 shut-off delayed secure closing contact and 1 semiconductor reporting output. The shutdown delay (e.g. stop category 1 or 2, SS1 or SS2) can be adjusted from 0.1 second to 15 minutes in a staggered manner. The supply voltage is 24 VAC / DC and the connections are made via removable screw terminals. Application up to safety level PL e in category 4 or SIL3 can be implemented. Multifaceted authorisations allow for international use. The assembly is done by fastening on a hat rail or by screw fitting on a mounting board. To protect the settings under the transparent cover, a clearly numbered locking tape is attached.
