The PowerPact ™ H, J- and L-frame protection switches have been developed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overload and short circuits. The circuit breakers with H and J frames are available with either thermal magnetic or electronic micrologic ™ triggers. The circuit breakers with L-frame are only available with electronic micrologic triggers. H- and J- frame protection switches with thermal-magnetic triggers contain in each pole individual thermal (overload) and undelayed (short circuit) sensor elements. The current strengths of the thermal trigger elements are calibrated at 40 ° C (104 ° F) ambient temperature. PowerPact H, J- and L-frame protection switches offer high performance and a wide range of interchangeable triggers to protect most applications. Electronic triggers provide high-precision protection with large settings and can integrate measurement, counting and communication functions. They can be combined with the front display module (FDM121) to obtain similar functions to a power meter. These devices are far more than just a protection switch. They are a measuring and communication tool that is ready to meet the energy efficiency requirements through improved performance requirements, increased energy availability and improved installation management. This PowerPact Multistandard, mechanical cable shoe is a connection accessory for PowerPact J-frame and has a measuring current of 150-175 A and is made of aluminium.
