The SFH610A (DIP) and the SFH6106 (SMD) are characterised by a high power transmission ratio, a low combined capacity and a high isolation voltage. These couplers have a GaAs- infrared diode emitter, which is optically linked to a silicon-planar phototranssistor detector and is housed in a plastic-DIP-4 or SMD housing. The coupling devices are designed for signal transmission between two electrically separate circuits. The couplers are stackable at a distance of 2.54 mm. Option 6 will achieve creep and air distances of > 8.0 mm. This version corresponds to the IEC 60950 (DIN VDE 0805) for increased isolation up to an operating voltage of 400 VRMS or DC.
