The manually operated load separation switches of the OTDC series are a cost-effective and reliable solution for a wide range of industrial DC applications. The OTDC series switches power levels from 100 A to 800 A (IEC) and from 100 A to 400 A (UL) at voltages up to 1500 V DC. Due to different assembly options, the switches allow high flexibility and efficiency in planning. The series has UL and IEC approvals. The UL version is only available as a side-operated version. The switches are also designed to be used in particularly high ambient temperatures. In addition, the loss performance was reduced by 50%. ABB offers you a wide range of accessories for these switches, such as extension shafts, handles, auxiliary switches and terminal covers. The DC load separation switches can therefore be used in the most demanding applications.
