Combined flash and overvoltage protection SPD type 1 + 2, for the protection of low voltage consumer systems against lightning currents and overvoltage. Type 1 and type 2 tested according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used as an overvoltage protection device according to VDE 0100 Part 443 and Part 534, as well as in the context of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the series system per M compact. The SPD are optionally equipped with "TS" with a potential-free exchange contact. The variants with "reserve varistor" (s) offer an additional protection of the system, so that at the end of the life the overvoltage absorbers are not completely separated from the grid, but by an additional smaller varistor a basic protection is still guaranteed and the system is therefore protected until the overvoltage absorber is replaced.
