The DHZ + ZG is a digital counter for the measurement of positive and negative action and blind energy in 3-line networks. The generation of the device described here is used to form an intelligent measuring system (iMSis) according to the requirements of the BSI and the MsbG. The DHZ + ZG variant has an enrichment-compliant counter level measurement, as is required for self-service providers to limit the third-party consumption under § 62 of the Renewable Energy Act (EEG). Both versions have a fully integrated interface to Local Meter Network (LMN) for direct connection to a Smart Meter gateway. The devices use M-Bus as a protocol, communicate via an RS485- cut cell with RJ-12 connectors, which are necessary to connect to a later gateway.
